At 13 years old my sister bought me a drawing and painting course by correspondence, but this was in English and in my home no one dominated the same. anyway I gave my first brush with those materials (oil), creating some jobs uninteresting.

As a child I was always a lover of art, but lacked the resources to move in the same. At 13 years old my sister bought me a drawing and painting course by correspondence, but this was in English and in my home no one dominated the same. anyway I gave my first brush with those materials (oil), creating some jobs uninteresting.

After that I unplug the art and work for many years in some confectionery where artistic creation but used to decorate cakes. It was not until 2001 that I felt the concern of using the brush on the canvas again. One began to watch TV-on art programs, bought books related to drawing, painting (oil, acrylic), techniques of still life, human figure, portrait, flowers, landscapes and more.

It was not until 2004 that motivates me to study some drawing and painting courses for beginners and landscaping at the University of Puerto Rico, Divicion Continuing Education (Beautiful Crafts) with Professor Rafael Rivera Ortiz (Rafa).

Today I want to continue studying and practicing to develop skills and appropriate techniques in the art of painting.
